How do you do, internet? I’m Tobiloba Kujore.
What’s the website for?
Put simply: I wanted my own home on the internet, you could call it my own little corner of cyberspace. A place to share my projects and ideas, thought experiments and rambles, and in between that, the boring bits of the world I live in every day.
I hope to turn this website – https://tobilobakujore.com/ – into a portfolio of the many bits and bobs of projects that I’m working on, as well as a platform for some new ideas that have been brewing for a while in the back of my head. A website in my opinion is always a useful tool to have!
How did I make it?
Using WordPress.org and Bluehost for both the domain and the website hosting. Compared to building a website from scratch HTML, JS and CSS, using a website maker tool saves both time and energy on my end and results in a cleaner website than I could make manually. However, because I wanted complete control over everything from themes to SEO, I decided that I would go with the .org variant, and not the .com variant, just in case I want to switch hosting provider in the future.
What’s next?
Over this summer, stay tuned for more blog posts and updates, as well as the six big projects I have planned for Summer 2024.
Thanks for reading!
Waiting for a Structura reference…
